Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The PBA will be sponsoring a bone marrow recruitment drive for Mike Costatva
sometime in mid February. As many of you know, Mike has been diagnosed with
Leukemia as a result of the many hours he spent at Ground Zero after the 9-11
attacks.
This recruitment drive is targeting people of Sicilian and Italian heritage, as that
gives a better chance of a match for Mike.
I am asking each member to donate the cost for at least one test, which is
$26.00. However, you may sponsor as many tests as you like.
I am confident that all members will participate in this worthy cause for one of
our own brothers in his time of need.
Please make your check or money order payable to the Terry Fatten Marrow
Program and mail it to the PBA office as soon as possible.
This fundraising is vital to the success of the recruitment drive. As soon as the
date, tune, and location are determined everyone will be notified.
