The Safe Ride Solutions (SRS)  

As a green and socially responsible company, we do practically all of our transactions on our secure website. The Safe Ride Solutions (SRS) website is http://www.callsrs.com or http://www.saferidesolutions.net.  

I. Drivers A. Pre-employment process 

1. Go to the SRS website

2. Click on the "Employment" section of the website to fill out our web-based employment application (no paper resumes will be accepted and this is the only way to apply).

3. Receive and complete driver paperwork package containing the basic driver contract, SRS Driver Guidelines, IRS Form W-9, etcetera.

4. Scan and email the completed package to Mr. Dan Sayasane at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it  or send it via US Mail/private courier service.  

4a. Scanning and emailing the package is quicker, cheaper, and ensures faster inclusion into the database of on-call drivers.

5. For active officers, send your agency's off-duty employment paperwork via email to Mr. Jerry Hara via email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . He will fax/email it back to your agency once he completes it.  

B. Important things to remember 

1. This position DOES NOT involve the excercise of police powers.

2. This position DOES NOT involve acting as a security, bodyguard, taxi, or limousine service

3. If during the course of the safe ride, the client engages in or expresses ideations of criminal activity, the driver will pull over in a safe location, end the safe ride, notify local law enforcement as well as SRS, and yield the scene to the on-duty responding officer[s].

4. For liability purposes, the client is required to maintain all legally required licensure, registration, and insurance on their vehicle. The driver is like the friend in the group who elects to be the designated driver in social situations.

5. The client provides the vehicle for transportation to and from the entertainment venue.

6. Once the client and their vehicle are safely dropped off at the client's domicile, the driver calls SRS and is ferried back to their personal vehicle.

7. All drivers are dispatched via a computerized dispatch center and will receive notification via phone or cell phone.

8. All SRS driver work is strictly on a part-time, on-call basis.

9. All SRS drivers receive IRS Form 1099 for income tax reporting purposes.

10. Pay rates start at $30 per hour for a minimum of six (6) hours of work.

11. If your members know any of the local bar/club owners, they should feel free to spread the word about the service to them. The more bar/club owners that are aware of it, the better because it can also help them to drum up business and keep/attract vital VIP clientele.
